Who We Are
Founder and Head Coach Eddie Ochoa is currently head coach of Rising Boxing Prospect Brady Ochoa his son, who turned professional at just 16 year old. Coach Eddie has coached professional boxers and professional mixed martial arts fighters. He has been at the some of the highest stages of the professional boxing and MMA game (PPV, DAZN, PBC, Combate Global, UFC, Belabor, MisFits Boxing). He has work with many Hall of Fame coaches and world champion boxers and still continues to study and learn from some of the best coaches in the game.
Coach Eddie has International coaching experience with Team USA, and has worked with some of the best boxers in the world at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center.
Coach Eddie is also founder and president of Athletes of Honor Leadership Academy that works with youth and adults in character development to build skillsets to build exemplary character, sportsmanship and leadership skills.
Coach Eddie currently served on the USA Boxing Ethics committee from 2018-2024.
Head Coach Alex Moreno is a professional boxer currently 2-0 (1KO). He is a graduate of the Athletes of Honor Leadership Academy.
He has professional boxing (PPV | DAZN) and USA boxing national level coaching experience.
Coach Jake Quiroz is CDA’s Sports Performance coach. He is a former USA Amateur Boxer, and has been in the CDA program since the age 12. He has been an assistant coach in the CDA program since the age of 16. He is a graduate of the Athletes of Honor Leadership Academy.
He has extensive high level experience coaching and preparing professional boxers, nationally ranked USA boxing athletes, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes.
Coach Angel Young is a graduate of the Athletes of Honor Leadership Academy. He is a 3 time national champion and soon to turn professional boxer.
He has professional boxing (PPV | DAZN) experience as an assistant coach.
Team Chaplain Moises “Moses” Rodriguez is a 2023 graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Bachelors of Science degree. He is graduate of the Athletes of Honor Leadership Academy.
He is currently a full-time student for the Master’s of Divinity degree at The Master’s Seminary in California.
